It is 141 meters deep, 1,328 hectares in size, holds 1.200 million m3 of water and is up to 27°C warm in summer - Lake Millstatt. In a total of 9 lidos around the lake, you can enjoy its drinking water quality and its high mineral content, which makes bathing fun not only unforgettable but also healthy. The Millstatt lido is 7,500 m2 in size and offers a natural bathing beach, a spacious sunbathing lawn and a large bathing jetty. Also not far from the Hotel Alexanderhof is the Dellach lido, which welcomes you with a large green area and a family-run restaurant. In the Granatium on the Kaningbach, an interesting garnet mining area and lots of interesting facts await discovery. Come with us into the mystical tunnel, dig for garnet and take your finds home with you. A great experience for the whole family. The "House of Storytelling" awaits you in Döbriach. There you can learn more than 30 magical legends and stories about the Millstätter See mermaid and the giant of the Mirnock. There are plenty of interesting legends between lake and mountain, let them be told to you and immerse yourself in the mystical past of our region.
