Enjoying, feasting, and relaxing—that’s how we picture a vacation. Do you agree? “Combining well-being and health with pleasure and a zest for life at a festively set table” —that’s our motto at the Hotel Alexanderhof on Lake Millstatt. From breakfast to dinner (à la carte), we’ll treat you to the best our region has to offer—in fantastic dishes and delicious Carinthian delicacies.

Breakfast buffet
Our kitchen team starts preparing the breakfast buffet for you early in the morning. Food lovers will be delighted to enjoy fresh fruit, homemade bread, a variety of cheeses, authentic Carinthian sausage specialties, healthy options from the muesli corner, fresh yogurt, cold juices, and much more. Fuel up—you’ll need the energy for a day of adventure in our wonderful active region.

Cafe, refreshments & ice cream throughout the day
There's always something going on on the terrace of the Alexanderhof. No wonder, the view over Lake Millstatt is hard to beat. Every day we serve coffee, ice cream and delicious cakes on our sun terrace. Very popular with locals as an excursion destination, much appreciated by house guests as a break in between. Have you just returned from a bike tour or hike and want to relax? Take a seat and enjoy a coffee and a fresh cake. The day could hardly be better!

While you return to the Alexanderhof after an eventful day and perhaps unwind in the wellness area , the kitchen is in full swing. We prepare dishesfor our guests that are sure to delight your palate. Choose from freshly caught fish from Lake Millstatt and savor game specialties, wholesome meals, and various regional delicacies. We source our products primarily from regional producers so that you can literally taste our region.
